 Description: Tumu Lodge, a British owned and run lodge, is just 40 minutes drive from the airport, and consists of two self contained 2 bedroomed villas with their own lush gardens full of tropical fruits, and a summer hut for BBQs and Al-frescoe eating. From the lodge's large terraces there are breathtaking views over the mountian ranges and Accra, Ghana's capital, beyond. Around the lodge there is plenty to do with lots of restaurants, mountain biking and trekking tours, and eco-tourism resorts and rainforest reserves. There is a large mountaintop golf course. Palm fringed, tropical beaches are less than an hours drive. Also endangered species and big game safari's available. Good for families as many activities such as african crafts/music and dance are on offer at the lodge.
