Slatters Cottage is a luxury Grade II listed 17th century stone cottage lovingly restored and available for self catering holiday lets all year round.
The cottage is situated in a quiet country lane with lovely views of the rolling hills and the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Hill, nr Moreton-in-Marsh,Gloucester, UK..
It has a wealth of character. On the ground floor is the kitchen and the lounge/dining area with a large inglenook fireplace with log burning stove. Both have exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is also an adjoining toilet and utility room.
Upstairs are one double (with 5’ pocket sprung mattress) and one single bedroom, sleeping up to three people (plus baby), with lovely views over the village, and the bathroom with bath and shower-over-bath.
The cottage is fully equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and gas central heating. It also has colour TV’s, Freeview Box with digital radio, DVD/CD player. There are a wide range of books, DVD films, music CDs and many games provided.
There is a payphone and you can get mobile reception (dependent upon your network). There is off-road parking directly outside the cottage for one car and further parking spaces are always available on the road directly by the cottage.
Linen and towels are provided free of charge. A travel cot (no bedding provided) and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. One well behaved dog is welcome (downstairs only) on request, for a small additional charge.
Located in the North Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Hill is ideally situated to act as your central base for visiting the many wonderful sites in the area from Warwick/Stratford-on-Avon to the North, Cheltenham & Bath to the South and the beauty spots of Broadway, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and "The Slaughters", to name but a few, are all nearer to hand.
Local amenities include the renowned gastropub, The Horse & Groom, Village Hall and Bourton House & Gardens. To either side of the village there is farmland, running down to Batsford Arboretum and the Cotswold Falconry Centre. Cotswold Paintballing is also nearby.
The nearest mainline station is in Moreton-in-Marsh, less than 2 miles away, where there are also antique & gift shops, pubs, restaurants (both eat in and take away)/tea rooms and three supermarkets. |

The house offers an indoor 35 foot heated swimming pool complete with a sauna, shower and changing rooms, along with a gym area with sun bed. Enabling activities for all ages.
Built in the 1880's, was originally four Victorian cottages. These cottages were homes to the miners that worked in the clay mines at that time. Amazing views of town and countryside from patio and sun terrrace.
Now converted into one dwelling, and set in three acres of private grounds and woodland, it is an ideal place to escape to for peace and relaxation. There are also over 250 licensed restaurants, cafes and public houses within the area.
Stoney Brow is available throughout the year. Offering a variety of accommodation and sleeping up to 14 people (16 including the sofa bed), it provides enjoyable self catering accommodation when holidaying with family or friends.
