4-Star Scottish Tourist Board Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Burns Country. We are 2 minutes drive from Burns Cottage, the birthplace of our national poet Robert Burns, and the Brig O'Doon House Hotel. Sunnyside is situated on the A719 coastal route on the south side of Ayr, 5 minutes drive to town centre and 5 minutes walk to beach. We are ideally situated for the British Open golf courses of Royal Troon and Turnberry, both only 20 minutes drive. Glasgow Prestwick International airport is 20 minutes drive north of Sunnyside.
We have 2 spacious well furnished ensuite rooms, each containing a double and a single bed. An extra single bed can also be accommodated for families.
We are commended for our high quality breakfasts using a variety of local produce such as free range hen and duck eggs from the local farm and choices include haggis and Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
